A candle is for a temporary mood, but the sachet is a lasting souvenir.
The green air,
The golden leaves,
turning to silence.
Autumn whispered
that it was time to sleep.
The rose wanted to bloom,
To go on.
She implored the sweet vanilla
To help her
retrieve a piece
of the unfaded soul,
the lively heart
of cinnamon,
so she could thrive.
La nature est en silence,
les couleurs s’intensifient.
Nourrie avec sa goutte de cannelle,
le câlin de la vanille,
La rose a fleuri.
Behind the scent
I once had a rose candle that I loved, and when it was finished, I thought, Why not make it?
Because I love vanilla, and cinnamon felt like a must for the season.
The sachet was a complementary smell – it carried dried roses and elderflower, vanilla essential oil (vanilla beans are too precious), and some rice to carry the oil.
And ta-da – Winter Bloom.
